The Junior Software Engineer will be primary responsible for working with the senior Software Engineers to turn user stories into technical requirements, that will then be delivered by the squad. Working with our CTO to ensure tickets are delivered in line with our development standards and system architecture.  


Job knowledge and experience 

  • Experience of working in small highly focused squads that are used to delivering quality outcomes  
  • Experience in making technical decisions and ensuring compliance with them 
  • Diverse exposure and experience including large-scale web applications 
  • Experience of system migration 
  • Experience of Agile, preferably Kanban 
  • Experience of working in a DevOps CI/CD environment 


Technical skills 

  • Proven ability to pick up new technical skills and use them to solve problems 
  • Commercial experience in AWS  
  • CloudFormation/CDK 
  • Serverless 
  • Lambda 
  • API Gateway 
  • Step Functions 
  • .net 
  • Javascript 
  • Node.js 
  • Angular/React/Vue 
  • Microservices and Event Driven architectures 
  • Event Sourcing 
  • CQRS 
  • CI/CD

This role is top priority and we are looking to appoint a Senior Software Engineer  ASAP 

Whilst Head office is based in Manchester, this role is a remote (work from home) role and we will accept applicants form anywhere in the UK.
